I created this film over a semester, as a full end‑to‑end production, which involved writing, directing, filming, and editing the piece myself. It’s an abstract, human‑centered look at childhood trauma, following Grace through life during and after abuse. I approached the project with the eye of a multimedia storyteller, shaping every visual and narrative choice to honor the emotional truth at its core.

Grace began as an assignment to tell a true, personal story. It required depth, honesty, and the kind of impact that lingers. As someone a self proclaimed cinephile and storyteller, I knew exactly where to look. This piece is inspired by my own history, shaped through the lens of someone who’s spent years learning how to translate lived experience into visual language. It became a way to confront something real while crafting a narrative that could hold both the weight and the humanity of it
